Atari Punk Console

My boardless APC in a vhs case. I had my girl help hold stuff just to make it easier to solder to ic pins. The soldering part took about an hours worth, reading the diagrams and messing with what I didn’t know was a broken a500k pot took about 2-3 hours, modding this plastic case took about 3 minutes with the dremel. Couldn’t resist, gonna paint the case still sometime, because my decal came out black and white and i want color!! I do like how close the pots are together though, you can run your finger in between them quickly to get sweet effects the way the pots are wired. glitch on!

 

The guts of the Atari Punk console in the vhs box. Look ma, no board! I know, I’m just asking for crossed connections with no protection but I’ve only had one small problem with the led so far, maybe I will go the extra step and electric tape the longer wired connections. Maybe I’ll just leave it like that easier to get body contacts off huge solder mountains =]
