Who we are
Who are JNA: The name (pronounced jih-naw) was derived from our 2 first names jeremy 'n alex (inventive eh?) But you can come up with your own acronym if you'd like and e-mail us it =] Alex has a background in guitar and keys, and Jeremy in trumpet. We first met in 2001 or so and worked on a few tracks in impulse tracker, buzz and nuendo, writing some funky breaks and drumnbass. Links to these tracks will be on our music page soon.
In 2008 we decided to start a trance/breaks/dubstep project using all hardware called JNA with the goal of playing parties, shows and raves eventually. We quickly started collecting gear, started weekend jam sessions and recording 120-140bpm material in Cubase SX3/Ableton. We will probably keep our live sets to trance and breaks at the moment, although alex will go off writing dubstep/dnb/eclectro under the moniker amplex.
